Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors is about to get a day off – but he’s not happy about it.
Green was a major part of the team’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday, scoring 8 points and 8 rebounds.
They ended up losing that game – and they also ended up losing Green in the process.
During the second quarter of the game, Green was called for his 16th technical foul of the season.
According to NBA rules, if the T isn’t rescinded then Green will be forced to sit out the Warriors’ next game against the Atlanta Hawks on Friday.
Every player is suspended for one game when they reach 16 technicals for the year.
Unsurprisingly, Green wasn’t happy about the call, saying, “If that’s a tech then everything you say on the court is a tech.”

The foul in question came in the second quarter when Green was attempting to rebound the ball.
When he grabbed possession, he tossed the ball at Russell Westbrook’s head.
That was enough for the refs and the foul was called.
Of course, Green and head coach Steve Kerr protested the technical but it didn’t matter and the call stood.
This is not a good time for the Warriors to lose Green, who has long been a crucial part of the team’s defensive blueprint.
They are going to be without Green and Andrew Wiggins, which makes them much smaller against Atlanta.
Receiving technical fouls isn’t new for Green, who is known as one of the most hot-headed stars in the league.
It was only a matter of time before he got another suspension because of his on-court personality.
