The Golden State Warriors, currently the sixth-best team in the West, are doing everything they can to bounce back from a lackluster season and go far in the playoffs.
Sadly, they may be doing that without one of their biggest stars.
Andrew Wiggins hasn’t played a game for his Warriors since February 13.
Following that game, the Warriors listed him as out for personal reasons and he has yet to return or make an appearance since.
Sam Esfandiari posted a video on Twitter of Fox Sports analyst Colin Cowherd saying that he’s heard Wiggins “likely doesn’t return for the season.”
Cowherd added that the loss of Wiggins isn’t “100%” but that the Warriors have made peace with the fact that they will be without him.

The Warriors have gone 7-5 without Wiggins so they are still hanging on but they desperately miss his size and versatility.
Fans are wondering what is going on with Wiggins but it’s very unlikely they will ever find out.
Players and coaches for the Warriors have stayed incredibly quiet about the cause of his absence, only offering him an ample amount of support and love.
There was hope among the loyal fanbase that Wiggins would be able to overcome whatever personal problems he is battling and be back for the playoffs.
But this latest report from Cowherd makes it sound like the chances of that happening are slim.
Therefore, the Warriors will be without Wiggins in the playoffs.
During last year’s postseason, he was very helpful for the eventual champions, posting 16.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 1.8 assists.
Those are numbers that the team could definitely use right now.
