Tuesday night marked the official start of the new NBA season and fans throughout the league were ecstatic to have basketball back.
But few fans were as excited as those who love the Golden State Warriors because this could be a truly historic season.
The team just won another NBA Finals in June and there is a good chance that they could do it again, achieving a rare back-to-back Finals victory.
Golden State is set up to win and has some of the best players in the league.

For years, the Warriors have been known for their big three consisting of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green.
They have been a fearsome trio for an entire NBA generation – but it’s a trio that may have run its course.
There is a lot of speculation that this could be the last year featuring all three players on the Warriors’ roster, with many thinking that Green could be headed for the exit.
Enjoy these three players while you can because this might be the end of an era.
Goodbye, Green?
Green wants a maximum contract extension at the end of the season, which would allow him to make millions and stick around with Golden State for a few more years.
But the chances of that happening are not huge, to put it gently.
Green’s demands were a tall order before he punched Jordan Poole during a practice session a few weeks ago.
Following that, the front office of the Warriors surely grew sour on the concept of offering Green millions.
They recently signed both Poole and Andrew Wiggins to big contract extensions, perhaps signaling that the team has made its choice and won’t be willing to do the same for Green.
Will Green be willing to take far less?
And will the Warriors even wait until next summer before toying with the idea of trading him?
