Slowly but surely, the Golden State Warriors are becoming more and more competitive and getting back into the swing of things.
Over the last few weeks, they have climbed the ranks of the Western Conference and are now the 6th team in the West with a record of 21-21.
That’s not as good as they want to be but not as bad as they once were.
Do the defending champions have a chance at another good postseason?
If they do, it’ll be because of Stephen Curry.

The Warriors have the best offense in the league when Curry is on the court but they have the worst offense in the league when he is sitting out.
Clearly, Curry is one of the best players alive and it is no shock to see just how important he is to the team.
At the same time, the squad needs to step up and win without Curry on the court.
They can’t put everything on his shoulders, especially as he gets older and injuries become more of an issue.
So far this season, the 8-time All-Star has been good for 29.2 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 6.5 assists.
Once again, his offensive power is on full display with his 49.5% field goal percentage and his 42.6% three-point percentage.
Curry’s 29.2 points are obviously the best for the team and the second-best shooter on the squad is currently Jordan Poole, with his 20.9 points.
The team’s offense has been improving lately so it’s unlikely they will end the season in last place without Curry.
If the Warriors hope to have any sort of strong playoff run, they will need to fill the voids left when Curry is sitting on the sidelines.
