The Golden State Warriors didn’t make many changes last week before the NBA trade deadline.
However, that doesn’t mean they weren’t trying to.
The Golden State Warriors gave the Bulls an aggressive offer for Alex Caruso, per @espn.
The Bulls declined which resulted in the Warriors acquiring Gary Payton II.

According to ESPN, the Warriors created an “aggressive” offer for Alex Caruso of the Chicago Bulls.
However, the Bulls took a pass on the deal and that is what led to the Warriors landing their old teammate Gary Payton II instead.
It is not surprising to hear that a team like the Warriors took a run at Caruso.
The young guard has been a force for both of his teams: the Los Angeles Lakers and now the Bulls.
With an aggressive style that comes in handy on both ends of the court, Caruso is very popular among fans and players.
However, it is a bit surprising to hear that the Bulls didn’t take the Warriors up on their offer.
That is because many speculated that Chicago was going to make some major changes before the deadline.
Their season is currently in disarray and they are the 11th team in the East, struggling to even qualify for the play-in tournament.
It was expected that they would do something at last week’s deadline.
Instead, they mostly stayed pat and didn’t shake things up.
This means they will be with the same roster for the rest of the year.
Does that mean the front office is giving up on this season or do they have faith that things can be turned around?
There have been a lot of rumors about Caruso leaving the Bulls lately but he is obviously still in the Windy City.
Is he there to stay or is the team just waiting for the right deal to come along?
