The Portland Trail Blazers fought hard on Tuesday but they still lost to the Los Angeles Clippers in a painful, tough 118-112 defeat.
While that was a reason to hang their heads low, the team also got some good news during the game.
It was in the midst of this match that reports came out stating Damian Lillard will be back soon.

In fact, Lillard, who has been out since November 19, is scheduled to return to his team on Sunday, December 4 for a home game against the Indiana Pacers.
This is nothing but good news for the Blazers, who are always better when Lillard is healthy and playing.
Looking Out For Lillard
Lillard experienced his second calf injury of the season against the Utah Jazz on the 19th.
After a primary examination, it was decided that he would be re-evaluated in one-to-two weeks.
As mentioned, this isn’t the first time that Lillard missed games due to calf injuries.
He missed four games earlier in the season with a different calf complaint in the exact same leg.
Sadly, injuries have become far more common for Lillard, who sat out most of last season after surgery and rehabilitation for nagging health issues.
So far, he has played in 11 games this season and has put up 26.3 points with 33% three-point shooting and 4.3 rebounds, and 7 assists a game.
The Blazers are better than expected and have managed to hang on tight even without Lillard playing.
That’s good news for fans of the team but the announcement of Lillard’s return is surely the best news of all.
After a surprisingly robust start to the season, the Blazers are currently 7th in the West with an 11-10 record.
