The Minnesota Timberwolves had a pretty huge offseason.
They made waves throughout the NBA when they landed Rudy Gobert in a monster trade with the Utah Jazz.
The team was already on the rise and becoming one of the most promising squads in the East but the addition of Gobert raises their prospects that much faster.

Everyone has been wondering what they will be like in 2022-23 and the preseason was a good chance to get a taste of what might be to come.
If this is the way the Timberwolves will play, great things are in store.
The Timberwolves are 4-0 in the preseason.
While these games don’t mean anything in the grand scheme of things, a flawless preseason is a great start and provides a lot of promise for this team.
The regular season is about to start and all eyes are on the Timberwolves.
Minnesota’s Mission
The Timberwolves obviously have one major goal for the season ahead: the NBA Finals.
Now, it might be too soon for them to achieve that but they could make more noise than ever before in the West.
They are now one of the biggest teams in the league, literally and figuratively.
Even before Gobert, the power of D’Angelo Russell, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Anthony Edwards was something special.
They reached the postseason last year for the first time in a few years but they struggled once the playoffs began.
Gobert has a lot of postseason experience and tons of power and skill to offer his new team.
He could be the difference-maker they need.
The Timberwolves gave up a lot to get the team they have now – will it all be worth it?
