Sam Presti has done an outstanding job in charge of the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Of course, there have been some tough years for the fans, with the team tanking its way to top-five NBA Draft picks over the past couple of seasons.
Notably, Chet Holmgren‘s injury was a major blow for this team ahead of the season.
So, it was only normal that fans thought they were in for another long season this time around, but that hasn’t been the case at all.
If anything, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Josh Giddey have led the Thunder to playoff contention, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see them make the postseason ahead of teams that were supposed to be better this season.
As a matter of fact, NBA University just released the strength of schedule for the remainder of the season, revealing that the OKC Thunder actually have the easiest remaining schedule in the league.

Mark Daigenault’s team currently holds a 24-25 record, sitting at the 11th spot in the Western Conference.
Nonetheless, they’re just 1.5 games behind the fifth-seeded Minnesota Timberwolves and 3.5 games behind the third-seeded Sacramento Kings, so they still have a strong chance to make the playoffs.
Barring an injury or a major disaster, the Thunder will compete for a playoff berth with at least eight teams, so they better make the most of their easy schedule.
Moreover, don’t be shocked if they pull the trigger to land an All-Star before the deadline, as they have 19 first-round picks to offer in any potential deal.
