The best players in MLB will be reunited in March 2023, when the fifth edition of the World Baseball Classic is played.
The tournament, as usual, will have nothing but elite teams in the sport: Japan, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, South Korea, Venezuela, and, of course, the United States.
Each country is in the recruiting phase: national federations are in the process of announcing which players are going to be on their respective rosters.
Team USA has been able to collect an impressive amount of talent with an eye for next year’s tournament.

Mookie Betts, on Thursday, and Tim Anderson, on Friday, were the latest stars to join Mark DeRosa’s team.
We don’t know all the rosters yet, but we can tell you one time with a lot of anticipation: that USA outfield will be, by far, the best in the competition.
An Incredible Outfield And Elite Corner Infielders
Mike Trout, Betts, and Bryce Harper are all top-ten players in baseball, and there isn’t even a discussion.
In the infield corners, Team USA will have the St. Louis Cardinals’ feared duo: Nolan Arenado and Paul Goldschmidt.
Both are having extraordinary seasons so far, with the latter being a firm MVP candidate in the NL.
Trevor Story and Tim Anderson may not be performing at the top of their games, but they are players of unquestioned quality.
J.T. Realmuto is probably the most complete and well-rounded catcher in baseball, and Cedric Mullins and Pete Alonso are two phenomenal bench pieces.
No starters have been announced yet, but evidently, Team USA has a lot to pick from.
Make no mistake: this is one of the strongest rosters in the WBC.
