The Phoenix Suns are going all-in to win the NBA title this season.
No move made that more clear than when they acquired Kevin Durant from the Brooklyn Nets at the trade deadline.
Phoenix gave away a bunch of young assets to have Durant join Devin Booker and Chris Paul.
Anything short of a championship this season should be a disappointment for that group.
But, they are looking to add another veteran that might be able to push them over the top.
That is for New York Knicks guard Derrick Rose.
Even though Rose is still a part of the Knicks there is growing speculation that he will be bought out.

If so, expect the Suns to pounce on the opportunity to sign him.
Veterans like Rose who are seeing limited playing time on their current teams usually get bought out.
This season, Rose is playing 12.9 minutes per game and averaging 5.8 points.
He could be more utilized on a team like the Suns who need another guard.
Rose has always been a fan favorite around the league.
He started as a phenom in high school and then in his one year at the University of Memphis.
His elite speed and skillset made him must-see TV.
After being drafted by the Chicago Bulls, Rose was one of the best players in the NBA to start his career.
He even won league MVP in 2010-11.
But a series of injuries including an ACL tear derailed his career.
For that reason, Rose has spent time on five different teams.
Now at the age of 34, he has yet to win an NBA championship.
But, joining the Suns would give him his best chance yet.
