The Boston Celtics beat the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night and it wasn’t even close.
Boston led by as many as 45 points as they completely destroyed the Suns and, in the end, the Celtics took home a huge 125-98 victory.
This was a showdown between the top team in the East and the then-top team in the West.
If this is a preview of the NBA Finals, then you might as well skip them because this game wasn’t even a little bit competitive.
Devin Booker on 27-point home loss vs. Celtics: "We have a long flight to New Orleans tomorrow, we'll have to regroup and think about it. It feels that game should count for two losses, but good thing it's only still one." pic.twitter.com/x6vxVGsfJa

Following the huge loss, Devin Booker opened up about being dropped by 27 points.
“We have a long flight to New Orleans tomorrow,” Booker said.
“We’ll have to regroup and think about it. It feels that game should count for two losses, but good thing it’s only still one.”
The Suns have experienced a couple of tough losses lately and they are eager to bounce back.
But now they are about to face the other top team in the league twice.
Beaten Badly By Boston
Losing to the Celtics is understandable but losing to them in the way that the Suns did just isn’t.
Booker put up 17 points but was 1-of-6 from the three-point line and was not nearly as smart and consistent as he usually is.
Chris Paul finally returned to the team but he was only good for 4 points and shot 33.3% from the field.
Meanwhile, the Celtics were doing everything they wanted with both Jays (Tatum and Brown) scoring 25 each, Malcolm Brogdon with 16 off the bench, and Grant Williams had another strong showing with 14.
Blake Griffin was also a contributor with 9 points and 9 rebounds.
The Celtics chewed Phoenix up and spit them out and now the Suns are about to face the New Orleans Pelicans – the new number-one seed in the West – twice in a row.
