The New York Jets’ quarterback switch to Zach Wilson has been met with mixed reviews across the internet today.
This move was made out of necessity due to the injury of Mike White.
It appears that Wilson isn’t the Jets’ preferred quarterback, and as long as White is healthy for Week 16, he will be the starter moving forward.
Wilson’s track record hasn’t been a positive one up to this point.

Among quarterbacks with seven or more starts this season, Wilson has the worst marks in two statistical categories: passer rating and completion percentage.
With these stats in mind, the Jets are likely uninspired going into Sunday’s game against the red-hot Detroit Lions.
However, with a postseason berth on the line, they will need to pull out all the stops on defense, likely having to make up for Wilson’s poor playing.
A Potential Safety Blanket
The Jets defense is one of the league’s best, only allowing 18.7 points per game.
If Wilson is able to do his part on the offensive side of the ball, the Jets may just have a chance, as their defense has been able to carry them to seven wins on the season.
The Lions offense is certainly tough to stop, proven by their recent track record.
In their last four games alone, the Lions have scored 31, 25. 34, and 40 points, respectively.
While their defense has certainly gotten better, the Lions have allowed 18, 28, 14, and 23 points in these games.
The Jets know that the Lions can score.
Can they stop them?
