No one is really sure what’s next for the struggling Houston Rockets.
Obviously, the team is going to build itself around the young, phenomenal up-and-comers Jalen Green, Kevin Porter Jr, and Jabari Smith.
However, it’ll be some time before they are the true All-Stars they could be.
In the meantime, the Rockets are not doing a whole lot and are the worst team in the West with a 10-30 record.
The chances of them reaching the playoffs, or even the play-in tournament, are all but gone at this point.

Naturally, there are rumors of the team wanting to make a big trade to improve their immediate chances.
Apparently, the Rockets want a first-round pick for veteran player Eric Gordon.
Gordon, who has been with the Rockets since the 2016-17 season, is averaging 11.5 points, 2 rebounds, and 2.4 assists.
The former Sixth Man of the Year is an important part of the team’s chemistry and he brings. a lot of expertise and experience.
But is he really worth a first-round pick or are the Rockets being a bit unreasonable with their demands?
There is no rush to trade Gordon, of course, since this season is completely lost for the Rockets.
Therefore, they can sit and wait for the right trade to come their way.
But they better not get their hopes up.
What is more likely than a direct swap for a first-round pick is the idea of Gordon being a part of a package deal featuring multiple players, draft picks, and more.
We don’t know what the end result of these rumors will be but it seems clear that Gordon’s time with the Rockets is likely coming to an end.
Will this be the first step of a major rebuild for Houston?
