Fans of the Sacramento Kings haven’t been this happy and excited in quite literally years.
For a seemingly endless amount of seasons, the Kings have floundered and fallen to the bottom of the Western Conference standings.
It’s been nearly 20 years since the team had a strong playoff run and it seemed like they’d forever be destined to be the 14th or 15th seed.
But times have changed and the Kings are most definitely back in a big way.

Following their wild win over the Utah Jazz on Tuesday, the Kings now have a 20-16 record and are the 5th best team in the West.
This is the fastest that the Kings have reached 20 wins in a season since all the way back in 2004-05.
The team hasn’t been this promising, powerful, and fun in almost two decades and many people are ready to see just how far they can go.
As of now, they are headed to the playoffs, although a lot can change between now and April.
But what are the chances of them having a big push into the postseason?
They will likely have to compete with teams such as the Dallas Mavericks, New Orleans Pelicans, Memphis Grizzlies, Denver Nuggets, and others.
Do they have what it takes to beat them?
The good news is that the Kings are young and fired up and ready to play hard.
But the bad news is that they are mostly inexperienced in the playoffs, which could hurt them.
Still, their success this season is not a fluke and they will keep trying to impress all season long.
