We are now just three days shy of the beginning of spring training games.
Games will finally get started on Friday, which means that baseball is officially back.
We waited through a long and cold offseason to finally get to this point.
Today, the excitement could be felt at the Boston Red Sox spring training facility.
Despite losing Xander Bogaerts, the Red Sox made a few key signings this winter.
They extended Rafael Devers and signed stars such as Justin Turner, Adam Duvall, Masataka Yoshida, Corey Kluber, and Kenley Jansen.
On Twitter, MLB posted a collage of photos featuring members of the Red Sox posing for pictures with a caption that read, “Smile, you’re on camera.”

The 2023 season is almost upon us, which means there are plenty of reasons to smile beyond simply being on camera.
The Red Sox are a team with plenty of question marks after losing some key pieces.
However, if all goes according to plan with their latest additions, they could potentially surprise some doubters.
Fortunately, Devers isn’t going anywhere anytime soon and will be the building block for this team.
He was featured in MLB’s collage of photos on Twitter.
Boston also has Alex Verdugo and Enrique Hernandez in the mix.
And the additions of Yoshida, Duvall, and Turner should help give the offense a little bit of a boost in 2023.
The Red Sox won just 78 games last season and finished in last place in the AL East, but they’ll look to prove their doubters wrong this season.
