The mission of the 2022 Los Angeles Rams is clear: defend their crown by winning Super Bowl LVII.
It remains to be seen if they will again represent the NFC in the big game.
However, they have a roster that can make it there, barring any injury.
Their defense and skill position players on offense often get the credit for their success.
There’s no fault because they have Leonard Floyd, three-time Defensive Player of the Year Aaron Donald, All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey, and new addition Bobby Wagner.
On the other side of the ball, Matthew Stafford will facilitate a talent-laden offense with Cam Akers, Van Jefferson, Allen Robinson II, and reigning Offensive Player of the Year Cooper Kupp.
But their offensive line is often overlooked in their success.
Last season, they had All-Pro Andrew Whitworth finally winning the achievement that has eluded him for most of his career.
Even if he’s not with the roster anymore, the Rams still have a formidable wall of protection for Stafford and Akers.
That’s why they would like to keep their line solid by locking in one of their stalwarts up front.
