The Las Vegas Raiders had high hopes coming into the 2022 NFL season.
There was no other way but up, especially after making the 2021 playoffs and trading for All-Pro wideout Davante Adams in the offseason.
However, their promising season has gone in the other direction by being the only winless squad after three games.

It’s not that they are losing big either because they suffered defeat by an average of 4.3 points per game.
They couldn’t find the finishing touches, whether in their 24-19 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers or the 29-23 defeat to the Arizona Cardinals.
In Week 3, the Raiders outscored the Tennessee Titans in the fourth quarter, 9-0.
Still, those points were not enough to outlast the Titans, 24-22.
Adams only had 36 yards and a touchdown in that game, while quarterback Derek Carr had 303 yards and two touchdowns.
The Raiders couldn’t defeat the Titans despite having more passing yards and first downs.
What Went Wrong For The Raiders?
While the Raiders converted all three fourth-down tries against the Titans, their one out of 12 conversions on third down didn’t help.
Likewise, they are struggling to neutralize the other team’s passing attack by giving up 267 yards per game.
That number ranks them 26th after three games.
Their 25.7 points allowed per game ties them in the 27th spot.
The Raiders could have registered their first win if not for the Cardinals’ 22-0 run in the fourth quarter and overtime.
Starting the season at 0-3 isn’t an ideal spot for a team that also gave contract extensions to Carr, Hunter Renfrow, and Maxx Crosby.
Meanwhile, they also gave Adams a five-year, $141.25 million contract after trading their 2022 first and second-rounders to get him.
The Raiders will try to score their first victory in 2022 against the Denver Broncos in Week 4.
