It’s going to be a fun night at Citizens Bank Park tonight.
The Philadelphia Phillies have returned home after splitting the first two games of the World Series with the Houston Astros and will have a chance to grab a 2-1 series lead.
But before the Phillies play their first World Series game at home since 2009, there are some fun festivities scheduled.
Four fan favorites in Philadelphia will be tossing out ceremonial first pitches prior to Game 3.
Phillies legend Mike Schmidt will throw one out.
But NBA legend Julius Erving, otherwise known as “Dr. J”, will also be tossing one of the first pitches, as will Philadelphia Flyers legend Bernie Parent and 2018 Super Bowl champion Brandon Graham.
Wonderful thing for fans in Philadelphia, with the ceremonial first pitches of Game 3 of the #WorldSeries tonight being thrown by a group of Philly sports champions, including Mike Schmidt, “Dr. J”, Bernie Parent and Brandon Graham. pic.twitter.com/q8UXJYVE7g

A Fun Night In Philly
Phillies fans are going to be treated to some excitement on Monday night.
With several Philadelphia legends set to throw out ceremonial first pitches prior to the first World Series game in the City of Brotherly Love in over a decade, this is going to be a fun night at the ballpark.
The fans will be loud and ready to root on their Phillies as they shoot for their first World Series title since 2009.
But the crowd will be enthralled upon seeing these four Philadelphia legends.
There really isn’t any better way to kick off a World Series game.
The series is dead even and the Phillies will be walking out onto the field to a raucous crowd that hasn’t seen a World Series game at home since 2009.
There’s a lot to look forward to in the City of Brotherly Love.
