The New England Patriots have the No. 14 pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.
And while there has been plenty of speculation regarding what they might or might not do with that pick, it now seems like they have a clear direction.
According to Mike Giardi, the Patriots have shown interest in Kentucky product Will Levis, who’s been one of the quickest risers in the past couple of days.
As I mentioned on Felger & Holley last night, there is real interest in QB Will Levis from the Patriots. Not universally, but there are important folks in that building that believe in the talent. What I've heard about his visit from other stops… he hasn't blown anyone away.

Giardi adds that there are some questions about his charisma and leadership skills, but that the physical traits are most definitely there.
The Patriots thought they were all set at the QB position for the future with Mac Jones, but his regression in his second season and rumors of a feud with HC Bill Belichick have now put that in doubt.
Jones showed glimpses of great play in his rookie season and will now be reunited with OC Bill O’Brien from his days with the Crimson Tide, so the team might still be sold on him going forward.
But if that’s not the case, then they could use that No. 14 pick to bring in some more competition, as Levis is nowhere near NFL-ready but could turn out to be a Josh Allen type of player with proper development and if given enough time.
The pressure is on Belichick to start winning some football games again, as team owner Robert Kraft was non-committal about his future with the organization if they don’t straighten the ship soon.
So, don’t rule anything out in New England.
