The New England Patriots continue to find new weapons for their offense.
It seems like the Patriots are committed to Mac Jones being their franchise QB, but he needs good players to throw to.
First, the Patriots brought in JuJu Smith-Schuster, who is coming off a successful season with the Kansas City Chiefs.
But, New England did not stop there.
According to Adam Schefter, the Patriots have signed tight end Mike Gesicki away from the Miami Dolphins.

The Patriots seem to love signing tight ends.
A few years back they added both Jonnu Smith and Hunter Henry in free agency.
Now after trading Smith to the Atlanta Falcons, the Patriots decided to fill his spot with another impact player.
Gesicki is coming off a season where he was underutilized in Miami.
In 17 games, he caught only 32 passes for 362 yards and five touchdowns.
The Dolphins’ quarterbacks did not target him often, and now they will have to face him next year.
Gesicki is a large human, making him difficult to defend in the red zone.
He stands at 6-foot-6 and is very good at high-pointing the football.
It will be interesting to see how much he is used in New England.
You would think the Patriots have a plan in place for him, and that is why he was signed.
New England does not have many red-zone threats, so Gesicki might be their go-to guy.
If the Patriots use him properly, it would not be a surprise for Gesicki to have a career-high in touchdowns.
