The Carolina Panthers join four other NFL teams in search of a brand new head coach.
Up to this point, the Panthers have interviewed nine candidates for this position, wanting to ensure the best possible person is selected.
One of their nine interviewees is Dallas Cowboys offensive coordinator Kellen Moore.

Although the team just interviewed Moore yesterday, it appears that he is sticking around the city today, gathering more information.
The Panthers finished their 2022 regular season with a record of 7-10, and are looking for marked improvement in 2023.
A new head coach will be a big part of this plan.
Moore is only 34 years old and has been a coach in the NFL for just four seasons.
However, his experience as the offensive coordinator for the Cowboys has been seen as incredibly valuable, and many teams have expressed interest in adding Moore to their coaching staff.
Regardless of who the Panthers decide to hire as their next head coach, they will be on track for a rebuild in 2023, and potentially in 2024 as well.
The Panthers are one of the NFL’s youngest teams, and they are missing key contributors at many positions, including quarterback and running back.
The good news for the Panthers is that they have three picks in the first two rounds of the 2023 NFL Draft, including the ninth overall pick.
This draft class is said to be loaded with quarterback talent.
If the Panthers don’t add anyone in free agency, they could attack the quarterback position in the draft.
A new coach would be walking into a prime situation to coach a new quarterback, building a new-look team.
