Albert Pujols and Yadier Molina are making their final stop at Petco Park this week.
Last night, prior to the series opener between the St. Louis Cardinals and San Diego Padres, the two retiring legends were presented with some unique gifts from the Padres.
The two were given their own custom surf boards with their nicknames, pictures, and jersey numbers on them.
Pujols’ board had “The Machine” written on it, while Molina’s had “Yadi” written on it.
The two were given these custom surf boards in a pregame ceremony where the Padres honored the two Cards legends as they prepared for their final series in San Diego, at least during the regular season.

Surf’s Up!
These are some pretty neat surf boards.
Of all the gifts Pujols and Molina have received this year in their farewell tour, these boards might just be the best.
In a nice little gesture, Manny Machado came out and joined the two legends during their pregame ceremony.
It was Machado who had called out MLB for not giving Pujols and Molina a proper farewell tour.
But thanks to him, now teams are giving Pujols and Molina the proper sendoff.
Of course, the Cards and Padres could meet again in the postseason.
A rematch in the Wild Card Series wouldn’t be too much of a stretch, with the Cardinals leading the NL Central and the Padres not too far ahead of the Philadelphia Phillies for the second Wild Card spot.
For now, Pujols and Molina will enjoy these farewell gifts from the Padres.
They’ll make their final stops in Los Angeles, Milwaukee, and Pittsburgh in the next few weeks.
We’ll see what their farewell gifts will be at those ballparks.
