It’s a fun time in the City of San Diego, as the San Diego Padres are getting set for their first NLCS appearance since 1998.
Game 1 gets underway tonight at 8:03 p.m. Eastern Time and airs on FOX Sports 1.
The Padres recently eliminated the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLDS and secured a date with the red-hot Philadelphia Phillies, who steamrolled the St. Louis Cardinals and Atlanta Braves in the first two rounds of the postseason.
For the Padres and their fans, it’s been a fun ride, but there has been one thing missing.
Fans had been clamoring for rally towels, which have not been provided thus far, until tonight.
For those @padres fans requesting/suggesting we provide towels for every home game, your voice has been heard! Just received confirmation that we will have them in time for each NLCS home game. Thank you, as always, for your feedback!

Padres Fans Get Their Rally Towels
You can’t have a playoff game without rally towels.
Waving those towels around is the best and quickest way that fans can get involved in the action, at least as much as they can.
It just adds to the playoff atmosphere
We can expect to see Padres fans waving those towels around tonight as the Padres welcome the Phillies to town for the NLCS.
It should be an electric atmosphere tonight in San Diego.
It’s been a long time coming for the Padres and their fans.
They’ve been waiting for this since 1998.
Now, they’ll have the rally towels with them to help create a little extra energy in the ballpark.
Padres fans’ wishes have been granted.
Now, they’ll hope to see the team take it to Phillies in the NLCS.
Things are about to get even more exciting in San Diego.
Beating the Dodgers helped fill the city with joy, but now fans want more.
We’ll see if the Padres can continue their magical run and reach the World Series.
