Over the last few seasons, the Green Bay Packers offense has dominated the spotlight.
That’s expected with a team with the reigning Most Valuable Player in Aaron Rodgers.
They also had All-Pro wideout Davante Adams who was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders this offseason.
The Packers also had a decent run game with Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon.
Their offensive line is also impenetrable with Elgton Jenkins, Jon Runyan, and David Bakhtiari.
However, that dynamic could change this season with the Packers assembling a lot of talent on defense.

That said, Pro Football Focus deemed the Packers’ defense to be dangerous.
One of their analysts, Mike Renner, even declared, “This is the best defense the Packers have had since they won the Super Bowl.”
If that’s the case, can this unit help deliver Rodgers’ second Vince Lombardi Trophy?
He won his only Super Bowl in 2010 when they defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers, 31-25.
Back then, they had defensive linemen like Cullen Jenkins, B.J. Raji, and Ryan Pickett.
They also had an elite linebacker crew with Desmond Bishop, A.J. Hawk, and Clay Matthews III.
Hall of Famer Charles Woodson led their defensive backs, together with Nick Collins, Atari Bigby, and Tramon Williams.
Dom Capers’ zone blitz scheme helped deliver the Packers’ fourth Super Bowl.
The 2022 Packers Defense
This year’s Packers have a menacing defensive line with Dean Lowry, Jarran Reed, and Kenny Clark, who all combined for 13.5 sacks last season.
However, the versatility of their coverages comes from their linebackers.
Preston Smith and Rashan Gary generate their pass rush, finishing with 18.5 combined sacks in 2021.
There’s also De’Vondre Campbell and Quay Walker, who will primarily take care of zone coverages.
All-Pro cornerback Jaire Alexander will lead the secondary, and joining him as possible starters are Eric Stokes, Darnell Savage, and Adrian Amos.
The Packers will open their season against division rival Minnesota Vikings on September 11.
