Practically every headline we have heard about Myles Turner of the Indiana Pacers lately has related to his inevitable trade from the team.
It seems we can’t go more than a week without hearing of a possible trade package that will send Turner to somewhere else in the league.
There was a time when Turner was perhaps the biggest name on the Pacers roster.
Now it seems like it’s only a matter of time until he’s gone.

Not so fast!
Pacers General Manager Chad Buchanan says the Pacers are still all-in on Turner.
“Myles Turner will be with the Pacers on opening night,” Buchanan said.
So despite all of the many, many rumors you have heard, Turner is remaining in Indiana – at least for now.
Trading Turner
There were a few possible trade deals revolving around Turner that we have heard about recently.
The most probable new home for Turner was Los Angeles with the Lakers allegedly wanting to land the big man.
But the Pacers weren’t going to give him up for just any asset and they wanted a lot in exchange.
In the end, the Lakers weren’t willing to put up the amount needed to get the star.
A few months ago, there was talk of Turner moving to the Suns or elsewhere as the Pacers tried to land Phoenix player Deandre Ayton.
However, that deal also fell apart.
This all led to Tuner sticking around in Indiana but it’s unlikely he will be there for the rest of his career.
The team’s pursuit of trading Turner isn’t coming to an end, it’s just taking a pause.
When the next trade deadline approaches, you can bet Turner’s name will be tossed around a lot.
