The Indiana Pacers are definitely one of the worst teams in the NBA right now.
Fans of the franchise are hoping that the front office shakes things up and adds a bunch of new, young, promising players.
However, they probably didn’t have something like this in mind.
What a moment ❤️
This young fan sitting near the team bench asked if he could check in. The Pacers let him and he scored 🙌

The Pacers called upon a young fan to join them on the court the other night.
After throwing a jersey on the kid, they let him play for a few moments and get the experience of participating in an NBA game among professional players.
To everyone’s surprise, the child actually put up a clean, smooth shot and scored a bucket.
This quickly became a viral moment that warmed the hearts of many – and got people talking about the future of the Pacers.
Keeping Pace With The Pacers
The Pacers have been stuck in a rut for a few years now.
They have been trying to start a rebuilding process but they have even faced trouble doing that.
Earlier in the offseason, the team took a run at Deandre Ayton of the Phoenix Suns but that deal fell apart when the Suns retained their restricted free agent.
There is talent in Indiana, of course, with players such as Tyrese Haliburton running the show for the time being.
Alongside Haliburton, others like Buddy Hield and Jalen Smith are willing to put in the work and make the Pacers shine a bit more than they have been.
However, any of those players could be on the trading block soon because the Pacers have made it clear that they will do anything and get rid of anyone to build up their roster.
