The Indiana Pacers are once again struggling in the East with their 24-26 record.
And because of that, there are numerous rumors popping up about them possibly trading away some of their stars.
This has happened again and again over the last few years, with various results.
A few of the players on their roster are repeatedly mentioned as trade assets.

Two of those players, Buddy Hield and Chris Duarte, are again being spoken about.
Sam Amico is reporting that the Pacers are open to moving both of them.
This isn’t the first time we have heard speculation about Hield and Duarte’s future so fans of the Pacers and other teams aren’t sure if it’ll result in anything.
Hield in particular has been a part of many rumors, especially with the Los Angeles Lakers.
That team has allegedly sought Hield multiple times but has not been willing or able to meet the demands of the Pacers.
So far this season, Hield has averaged 17.6 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 2.7 assists while Duarte has been doing 7.7 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.4 assists.
No one is really sure what the Pacers are planning.
They have some star talents like Tyrese Haliburton, Myles Turner, and newcomer Bennedict Mathurin.
They may be looking to trade away Hield, Duarte, and others so they can build around Haliburton, Tunrer, and Mathurin.
Ever since he joined the team, the Pacers have been very close to shipping Hield away and now it seems like they are toying with the idea again.
However, the Pacers are a fickle and demanding team and they won’t agree to just any deal.
Therefore, fans of the Lakers and other teams shouldn’t consider this a done deal until all the contracts as signed and Hield and Durate are in new jerseys.
