The Denver Nuggets are currently battling their way into the postseason and right now are the sixth seed in the West with a record of 36-25.
A lot of this is due to the help from reigning MVP Nikola Jokic, who is helping the rest of his squad in so many ways.
But the fact that the team is doing this well despite missing two of its key players is quite remarkable.
However, they might not be missing them for much longer.

Bleacher Report is saying that there is a “strong sense” that the team will soon have both Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. back on the team by the time the playoffs begin.
If that’s true, the Nuggets will be much, much more dangerous and could have a legitimate chance at making it very far in the postseason.
Murray & Michael
The Nuggets have desperately missed Murray and Porter in the time they’ve been gone.
Porter underwent spine surgery three months ago, but has since returned to the floor and is moving and shooting without pain in recent weeks.
While he was playing, he was averaging 19 points with 54 percent shooting and 44 percent from the three-point line.
As for Murray, the star guard has been out of the game since last April, when he tore his left ACL.
While on the floor, he was creating 19 points and 7.3 rebounds per game and was a crucial part of the Nuggets’ lineup.
If both of these guys – or even one of them – comes back when the playoffs begin, the Nuggets will be much faster and much more dangerous from all over the floor.
This could be a huge difference-maker for the team.
