When the 2022-23 NBA season began, fans of the Denver Nuggets were expecting a lot.
They had Nikola Jokic, one of the best players alive, ready to have another MVP season.
But the whole team had gotten better, deeper, and healthier and Jamal Murray was finally returning.
The sky was the limit for the Nuggets, according to the loyal followers of the team.
Fast forward a couple of months and Denver is now the best team in the West with a 27-13 record.

At this point in the season, there are always some people who think that the top teams will not remain the best and don’t really have what it takes.
These people claim that certain groups have had good luck or haven’t faced serious challenges yet and that things will change in the months ahead.
However, the Nuggets have defeated the Los Angeles Clippers, Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics, Sacramento Kings, Phoenix Suns, Memphis Grizzlies, and others over the last 12 games.
Those are some tough teams and they don’t go down without a fight.
Therefore, the Nuggets have earned that number one seed in the West and they are truly at a level that fans have wanted for years.
What’s next for the Nuggets?
Ideally, they will just remain as competitive and powerful as they have been.
The squad has a number of great stars, such as Murray, Aaron Gordon, Michael Porter Jr, Bones Hyland, Bruce Brown, and more.
Of course, everyone knows that Jokic is the star of the squad with his 25 points, 10.8 rebounds, and 9.7 assists a game.
As long as the team remains healthy and playing as they have been, it’s completely reasonable to see them making it very, very far in the playoffs this year.
