The University of Alabama continues to churn out phenomenal football talent that translates well to the NFL.
Year after year, there are multiple players taken in the NFL Draft that are products of Nick Saban and the entire Alabama coaching staff.
Running backs Derrick Henry and Josh Jacobs are two prime examples of this greatness.

Both Jacobs and Henry have accumulated over 1,000 yards on the ground this season.
Jacobs is a member of the Las Vegas Raiders, and Henry is a member of the Tennessee Titans.
While both teams haven’t had the same level of success this season, Henry and Jacobs are big parts of their respective teams’ offenses.
Alabama’s NFL Footprint
In the last ten years, the University of Alabama has had three Heisman trophy winners: Derrick Henry, Devonta Smith, and Bryce Young.
Henry has played up to his pre-NFL potential up to this point.
Smith has only played for one-and-a-half seasons and has been a key contributor to the Philadelphia Eagles offense.
Of these three, Young is the only player whose NFL prowess remains to be seen, as he is still in college.
However, Young is projected to be a top-three pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, and will likely become the franchise quarterback for a hopeful NFL roster.
It’s not just these three Alabama alums that have been successful in the NFL.
In just the last five seasons, Alabama has had a whopping 48 players drafted into the NFL.
Whatever is in the water at the University of Alabama must be transferred to other schools across the country.
