The NFL offseason is going by quickly.

A few months ago, the focus was still on free agency and the NFL Draft.

But now, teams are headed to their respective training camps to finalize their rosters for the 2022 season.

There are other updates like contract signings and trades that appear here and there.

However, the focus is on ramping up their preparations for the upcoming competition.

That’s why the league is reminding everyone that football is back in less than two months.

Yes, there are only 50 days left before the 2022 season kicks off and it will open with a thrilling matchup.

The Buffalo Bills have been perennial playoff contenders since trading for Stefon Diggs and the emergence of quarterback Josh Allen.

This year, they will have two-time Super Bowl winner Von Miller joining the top-ranked defense after last year’s regular season.

Speaking of the Super Bowl, the Los Angeles Rams are the defending champions after defeating the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl LVI.

They lost Miller in the offseason but added All-Pro linebacker Bobby Wagner to a defense that already has Jalen Ramsey and Aaron Donald.

Their offense will also retain Matthew Stafford, Cooper Kupp, and Cam Akers, but added Allen Robinson to their receiving corps.

The Rams versus the Bills should be a fantastic matchup to open the 2022 season.

Other Intriguing Week 1 Matchups

Aside from the Bills against the Rams, the Bengals will also face division rival Pittsburgh Steelers on opening weekend.

It remains to be seen who will the Steelers have as their starter after Ben Roethlisberger retired.

There’s also the matchup between AFC East rivals Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots, two teams that have playoff potential.

The Dallas Cowboys and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will also play each other in the first week.

Finally, it will be a hotly-contested AFC West affair as the Los Angeles Chargers compete with the Las Vegas Raiders.
