Aside from following their favorite team, NFL fans follow the stars of the game.
They are the ones that make the games exciting and provide a lot of highlights
Every year, the league releases its list of the top players.
The players themselves choose who goes into the list, but their performance from the previous season matters a lot.
That said, here are the top 20 players in the league in alphabetical order.

It’s no surprise that the biggest individual award winners last year, like MVP Aaron Rodgers and Offensive Player of the Year Cooper Kupp are in the Top 20.
Defensive Player of the Year T.J. Watt and Defensive Rookie Of The Year Micah Parsons are also included.
Josh Allen, Tom Brady, and Patrick Mahomes are the other quarterbacks on the list.
Meanwhile, the wide receivers in the Top 20 other than Kupp are Tyreek Hill, Davante Adams, Justin Jefferson, and Deebo Samuel.
Derrick Henry and Jonathan Taylor represent the running backs, while Travis Kelce is the only tight end on the list.
Also in the Top 20 is offensive tackle Trent Williams.
Defensive Players In The Top 20
Aside from Watt and Parsons, the NFL players also named defensive end Myles Garrett in the Top 20.
Three-time Defensive Player of the Year Aaron Donald also has a spot on the list.
Indianapolis Colts All-Pro linebacker Darius Leonard also earned a place among the league’s elite players.
Completing the list of defensive players are cornerbacks J.C. Jackson and Jalen Ramsey.
Jackson just joined the Los Angeles Chargers while Ramsey won Super Bowl LVI with the Rams.
These players will see action once the 2022 NFL season starts on September 8.
The Rams and Buffalo Bills will kick off the upcoming season.
