Opening day for the 2022 NFL season has finally arrived.
That’s why the league has a simple message for all football fans: “hi, we’re back.”

It’s very fitting that they used a short clip of Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford waving to the camera.
After all, Stafford and the Rams will face Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills in the kickoff game.
The Rams are looking to start their Super Bowl title defense against one of the favorites to win it all in 2022.
They will do so at their home turf, So-Fi Stadium, and with a complete roster.
Stafford has the luxury of handing the ball over to Cam Akers and Darrell Henderson Jr. in the backfield.
However, they do most of their damage in their passing game with Van Jefferson and reigning Offensive Player of the Year Cooper Kupp.
The Rams also acquired former Chicago Bears wideout Allen Robinson II via a three-year, $46.5 million contract.
Los Angeles will also field an elite defense that is bolstered by All-Pro linebacker Bobby Wagner.
He will join his fellow All-Pros in cornerback Jalen Ramsey and three-time Defensive Player of the Year Aaron Donald.
Super Bowl LVII Preview?
If the Rams have what it takes to make a Super Bowl return, the Bills have the talent to finally break through.
The third time could be the charm because they have been foiled by the Kansas City Chiefs for the past two seasons.
Allen will lead the way on offense, and he can activate Devin Singletary and James Cook in the backfield.
Meanwhile, their receiving corps boasts of Jamison Crowder, Isaiah McKenzie, Gabriel Davis, and Stefon Diggs.
The Bills also have Dawson Knox, who just agreed to a four-year, $53.6 million contract extension.
Buffalo also added two-time Super Bowl winner and Super Bowl 50 MVP Von Miller to their defense.
His familiarity with the Rams’ system will come in handy when they clash today at 8:20 p.m. ET.
