There are NFL divisions where competition is fierce because they feature teams with a legitimate shot at making the playoffs.
The AFC West is an example, with the Kansas City Chiefs, Denver Broncos, Los Angeles Chargers, and Las Vegas Raiders.
Meanwhile, the AFC North has the Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Bengals, and Pittsburgh Steelers.
The NFC East is turning into a tight battle with the Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, and Washington Commanders.
However, none of those divisions compare to the intense battle within the NFC West.

The NFL tweeted, “The entire NFC West is 2-2.”
That symmetry happened when the San Francisco 49ers defeated the Los Angeles Rams in their Week 4 Monday Night Football game, 24-9.
Aside from the Rams, the 49ers also defeated the Seattle Seahawks in Week 2.
However, they lost to the Chicago Bears and the Broncos in Weeks 1 and 3.
On the other hand, the Rams dropped their season opener against the Buffalo Bills.
Sandwiched between their two losses are wins against the Atlanta Falcons and the Arizona Cardinals.
The Seahawks earned their victories against the Broncos and the Detroit Lions.
They also lost to Falcons aside from the 49ers.
Finally, the Cardinals won against the Raiders and the Carolina Panthers.
Arizona dropped its season opener against the Kansas City Chiefs before losing to the Rams.
The NFC West In Week 5
It remains to be seen how many NFC West teams will have winning or losing records after Week 5 of the 2022 NFL season.
The 49ers will compete against the Panthers while the Seahawks face the New Orleans Saints.
The Cardinals will go up against the undefeated Eagles, and the Rams will square off with the Dallas Cowboys.
With the way things are going early on, the battle for the NFC West division title will go down the wire.
