No one, even the most die-hard fans, will say the Brooklyn Nets are doing well so far in the 2022-23 season.
The team has won only a single game.
They have come close multiple times but close doesn’t count in the NBA and the Nets are struggling to secure much success.
The worst part about their troubles so far is that most of the stars are healthy and available.
Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and Ben Simmons have played in every game – yet they still keep losing.

Now the team might lose one of those guys.
It is being reported that Simmons is questionable for Monday’s game against the Indiana Pacers because of left knee soreness.
It is true that Simmons has not been the player that the team wanted.
But it’s also true that Brooklyn wants him suited up for the game against Indiana.
It’s yet another piece of bad news for the team.
Simmons Sitting Out
So far, Simmon is not like like his former All-Star self.
There is a lot of time to grow – and it should be given since he spent all last season sitting out – but Simmons is only putting up 6.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 7.2 assists a game.
Those are not bad numbers but compared to his career average of 15.7 points, 8 rebounds, and 7.7 assists, they look lacking.
They are made even worse by the fact that his field goal percentage has dropped.
Most troubling, Simmons has experienced a lot of foul troubles during these first six games and has been fouled out twice.
In fact, he has only had one game where he has fouled less than four times.
Still, the only way Simmons will get better and into the swing of things is to keep playing.
Therefore, the idea of him missing games is a worrisome one.
