The beginning of the NBA season wasn’t a good one for the Brooklyn Nets.
Kevin Durant and his squad, who fell apart at the end of last season and were the only team to be swept in the playoffs, were not playing well as a unit.
There were many headlines criticizing everything about the team, from the coaching to the playing.
Changes were made, injuries were healed, and the team has gotten on track.

In fact, the Nets have won their last 8-of-11 games and are now the 4th team in the East.
This is quite the quick turnaround for Durant, Kyrie Irving, and their team
But now Brooklyn fans are wondering if it’ll last.
Brooklyn Bouncing Back
The Charlotte Hornets, Toronto Raptors, Orlando Magic, Portland Trail Blazers, and Memphis Grizzlies have all felt the might of the Nets recently.
These are the teams who have been taken down by Brooklyn over the last few weeks.
Unsurprisingly, Durant and Irving have been major parts of these wins.
The return of Seth Curry has definitely helped the team’s offense but the biggest change the team has experienced lately has been the hiring of new head coach Jacque Vaughn.
Former coach Steve Nash started the season with a 2-5 record but the team has gone 12-7 since Vaughn was hired.
It is clear that the team is moving in the right direction with new leadership.
We have always known that the skill on the roster was there, that is what made Brooklyn’s failures so painful.
But it feels as if things have pivoted in the right direction and there is cause for optimism with the Nets.
