There is no other way to put it: the Brooklyn Nets got worked on Tuesday night.
The team was decimated by the Sacramento Kings in a stunning153-121 loss that was hard to watch.
So far, the season hasn’t been great for fans of the Nets but Tuesday night was definitely the lowest moment yet.
Now, there is talk about just how upset the team is and the behind-the-scenes drama that is leading to such dysfunction.

Shams Charania is reporting that the Nets “are growing frustrated” with Ben Simmons‘ availability and level of play.
He added that there are some “questioning his passion for the game.”
This isn’t the first time we have heard these critiques about Simmons but it’s surprising to hear that those inside the Nets’ front office are feeling this way.
So, what’s next for Simmons and the ailing Nets?
Ben With Brooklyn
On Tuesday night, Simmons scored 11 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists.
That goes along with his 2022-23 average of 5.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 5.6 assists.
For his last season with the Philadelphia 76ers, Simons was averaging 14.3 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 6.9 assists.
In others words, the man is not living up to the player he once was.
Since joining the Nets, Simmons has yet to have a great, breakout night that got the fans excited.
Instead, most of his performances have been middling and not even close to exhilarating.
Simmons is a three-time All-Star and was the 2017-18 Rookie of the Year but he doesn’t even look remotely close to those things right now.
There has been a lot of speculation about what’s ahead for Simmons.
The Nets aren’t happy with him and he isn’t getting better – so will Brooklyn trade him away?
And if they do, who can they get in exchange for him?
Let’s be honest, what team will jump at the chance to sign him?
