Steve Nash, head coach of the Brooklyn Nets, is once again in the midst of a scandal.
It seems like the Nets can’t go a few weeks without some nasty headlines and non-basketball drama plaguing the team.
And, once again, the controversy is swirling around Kyrie Irving.

Irving recently got into hot water – again – after posting a link to a film considered antisemitic by many on Twitter.
This has led to statements from the team’s owner and Irving himself, as well as a slew of negative news stories and think pieces about Irving and the future of the team.
Nash claims the team isn’t too bothered by the whole situation, because it isn’t their first rodeo.
“I don’t think our group is overly affected by the situation. We’ve had so many situations over the last two-and-a-half years I think we’ve kind of built an immunity to some of it,” Nash said.
Nash obviously wants to solely focus on the team and rebounding from their lackluster start.
But that might not be possible with Irving on the roster.
Irving In It Again
We don’t know what will happen next in regard to this situation.
Will it continue to balloon and generate more controversy or will it die down?
It’s hard to tell with Irving, who never backs down from speaking his mind no matter how much pushback he gets.
The Nets are in bad shape: they have only won a single game despite the inclusion of Irving and Kevin Durant.
This scandal might not be bothering the players but it certainly is again casting a black cloud over them.
It’s the last thing this struggling team needed.
