Things are always changing in the NBA and teams are constantly rising and falling, experiencing ups and downs, good times and bad.
This time of the season is always fun because fans get to see so many changes as teams find their footing while others go off the rails.
A lot had changed within the league over the last few days, especially in the Western Conference.

There is now a new top team in the West: the New Orleans Pelicans.
Just days ago, the Phoenix Suns were the best in the West but the Pelicans took them down twice over the weekend, claiming the best standing in the West and reigniting a growing rivalry between those two teams.
The Pels are in the midst of an amazing seven-game winning streak, having defeated the Suns, Detroit Pistons, Denver Nuggets, San Antonio Spurs, Toronto Raptors, and Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Pelicans are flying higher than ever before.
Is this 2022-23 the year of the Pelicans?
The Power Of The Pelicans
Yes, the Pelicans have been slaying their rivals lately but can they keep it up in the weeks ahead?
Up next for Zion Williamson and his team are games against the Utah Jazz (twice), the Phoenix Suns again, the Milwaukee Bucks, and San Antonio Spurs.
There will be a lot of tough matchups in those games.
Others will always be aiming to take down the top team and the Pelicans are now in a position they have never been in: they are the ones to beat.
This will be the time when they need to prove themselves even more.
They might just do that because they have been achieving all of this greatness without the help of Brandon Ingram, who has been out for seven games with an injury.
That means this team might get even better soon.
