If you regularly watch NBA games then there is a good chance you have seen them on a Bally Sports network.
There are numerous regional Bally Sports channels across the nation and they regularly show games specific to your part of the country.
From Bally Sports Arizona to Bally Sports Southwest, the conglomerate of channels brings the NBA to millions.
But it is facing severe financial hardships that could prevent it from moving forward.

Diamond Sports Group, the owner of Bally Sports, recently missed a significant $140 million interest payment, which means the company could be on its way to bankruptcy.
They now have a 30-day grace period to negotiate with creditors and restructure their debt, or they could file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy instead.
Diamond states that they plan to have discussions with their creditors and stakeholders to formulate a plan.
It’s not clear what would happen to Bally Sports and their number of networks if bankruptcy occurs.
It’s also not clear how they can pay back the money they owe.
Bally Sports has been in transition lately, attempting to bring in new viewers through their Bally Sports+ streaming platform, reaching more of an audience while competing with some of the larger networks, like TNT and ESPN.
But so far their digital presence has been limited and that has likely contributed to the debt that they owe.
For the foreseeable future, Bally Sports will still provide NBA games to customers but there may come a time when they are sold, restructured, or completely off the air.
