Monday night is going to be a very big one for the NBA.
And it’s all because Tuesday is going to be a huge day for all of America.
The league has made the massive decision to schedule all 30 NBA teams to play on Monday, giving fans 15 wonderful matches within the span of just a few hours.
There is a reason for this enormous night.
Reminder: all 30 NBA teams are playing tonight (Monday); no one is playing tomorrow (Tuesday, Election Day). All 15 games tonight are available for free on the new NBA app. The league will promote voting resources available to fans in their states during tonight's games.

No team will be playing on Tuesday, Election Day, as a way to remind fans, players, and anyone close to the NBA to do their civic duty and vote and pay close attention to the results.
But before the league goes dark on Tuesday, it will allow any fan with the NBA app to watch Monday’s games.
Each game will be available for free on the new NBA app.
We don’t usually get evenings like this and it’s a welcome gift from the league.
Monday Night Madness
It’s been a very long time since so many games have been scheduled on one night.
In fact, it may have never happened to this degree before.
This was a move that the league announced at the end of the offseason and is all part of their plan to raise awareness to voting.
You can expect that the NBA will repeatedly remind viewers about Election Day.
Don’t be surprised if some teams are even wearing t-shirts or cutting PSAs to let the audience know how important Tuesday is.
Hopefully, this isn’t the last time that the league schedules so many games on one night.
The addition of free viewing on the NBA app is another huge bonus.
But one wonders if that app will be able to handle the massive amount of traffic that will be coming its way.
