A lot has changed throughout the NBA over the last week.
The recent trade deadline altered many teams in the league, enhancing some and hurting others.
Yet, even with all the major trade packages, there are still some players who are sitting at home without a team to call their own.
With approximately one-third of NBA teams still with an available roster spot, free agents include: Serge Ibaka, John Wall, LaMarcus Aldridge, Will Barton, Stanley Johnson, Wayne Ellington, Tyler Johnson, Sterling Brown, Hassan Whiteside, David Nwabe, Michael Carter-Williams.

NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski noted all of the supremely talented basketball stars who remain free agents as the league races deep into the second half of the season.
Athletes like Serge Ibaka, John Wall, LaMarcus Aldridge, Will Barton, and Stanley Johnson are not currently playing for anyone.
And there are others: Wayne Ellington, Tyler Johnson, Sterling Brown, Hassan Whiteside, and Michael-Carter Williams.
But there are even more players too, highlighting the fact that many free agents are ready to suit up and play.
Will they get the chance?
Most of these free agents will likely remain that way because teams in the league don’t want to spend the money to acquire them.
While they would certainly work on a cheaper contract than other players, that is still money that front offices would rather hold onto.
There are options for these players, of course, such as playing overseas, commentating, coaching, or holding out hope to return to the league.
They shouldn’t give up on that hope because there are plenty of instances of stars returning to the NBA after years of being away.
Although most teams will hold their purse strings tightly in the upcoming months, some may take a chance and pull from this deep pool of available free agents.
