Although the biggest draw of the NBA All-Star Weekend is obviously that game at the center of it all, there are so many events that take place during that time period that are well worth your attention.
Over the years, the three-point contest has become one of the most-watched, most talked about, and most exciting elements of the weekend.
And it has attracted some huge stars.
There was a time when it was rare to see the best of the league participate in anything but the actual All-Star Game but things have changed.
This year's NBA 3-PT contestants at All-Star weekend, per @ShamsCharania:

According to Shams Charania, the upcoming three-point contest will feature some of the most impressive shooters in the league.
Damian Lillard, Jayson Tatum, Tyrese Hailburton, and Tyler Herro will participate in the contest.
They will be playing against Buddy Hield, Kevin Huerter, Lauri Markkanen, and Anfernee Simons.
This lineup of contestants features some of the best and most proven three-point producers in the league.
Lillard, for example, has made a name for himself as a dangerous threat from anywhere on the court.
But the inclusion of Huerter, Markkanen, and Simons is very exciting because they are rising talents that could lead the league in the future.
While the three-point contest doesn’t count for anything aside from bragging rights, it’s a chance for the biggest names in the game to show their stuff and prove their dominance with such a tricky, pivotal type of shot.
Who will take home the glory this year?
We will find out in just a few days when All-Star weekend begins.
