The Dallas Mavericks got off to a pretty decent start in 2022-23, winning 6 of their first 9 games.
They actually had an impressive four-game win streak at the beginning of the season.
But then the rough times came, as other teams got stronger and started to figure themselves out.
This led to a rough four-game losing streak just a couple of weeks ago.
But the Mavericks are winning again, and are in the midst of another three-game winning streak.
The Mavericks just beat the two best teams in the Western Conference on a back to back

In fact, they just took down two of the best teams in the West in back-to-back games.
On Tuesday, they defeated the Denver Nuggets and that came literally hours after overwhelming the Phoenix Suns a day before.
While they are not technically one of the top team teams in the West, the Nuggets are a tough team and they showed it on Tuesday.
The Suns, however, are at the top of the standings in the Western Conference and the Mavericks made easy work of them.
Are the Mavericks going to keep this streak going?
Mavericks Making Moves
It’s encouraging for Dallas fans to see their team claim such important victories.
There is no doubt that both the Nuggets and Suns will attempt to stand in the way of Luka Doncic and his team as the postseason begins.
The playoffs are obviously different than the regular season but beating them this week shows that victory is possible.
What’s next for the Mavericks and can they keep grabbing Ws?
Next up will be the Milwaukee Bucks, which will obviously be a huge challenge.
Then they are taking on the Chicago Bulls, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Cleveland Cavaliers.
How many of those games will be triumphs?
