This NBA season has had a lot of good but also a lot of bad for the Dallas Mavericks.
Obviously, the biggest highlight is the work of Luka Doncic, the MVP candidate who is scoring 34.2 points, 8.9 rebounds, and 8.7 assists a game.
As for the lowlights, those would be the lacking effort from the rest of the team at times and the number of losses the Mavs have encountered, especially when Doncic is on the bench.
It’s not a huge shock to hear that the Mavericks are contemplating some trades ahead of the upcoming deadline.
According to multiple sources, the Miami Heat & Dallas Mavericks have had initial conversations on a deal involving Tim Hardaway Jr.
This isn't the first time Hardaway Jr has been linked to Miami. He's definitely a name to watch as the deadline approaches.@BasementSportsN

According to NBA writer Adam Borai, the Mavs and Miami Heat have had “initial conversations” on a deal around Tim Hardaway Jr.
We have heard Hardaway talked about as a possible target for the Heat in the past so this isn’t surprising news.
However, Borai adds that Miami is also keen to look at other Dallas players like Reggie Bullock and Dorian Finney-Smith.
We don’t know which players or draft picks the Mavericks would get in return but the Heat are one of the few teams who have some money to spend.
They sat relatively still during the last offseason and have cash on their books so they could cover the salary of Hardaway and even a few other players along with him.
A change would be good for the Heat because they are currently trying to climb higher in the Eastern Conference standings.
As for the Mavericks, they once again feel very close to being ready for some serious postseason greatness.
Will a trade with the Heat help them achieve that?
