This season, the Detroit Lions have been a high-scoring team.
Compared to their performances last season, the Jared Goff-led offense is excelling expectations.
However, while they are high scoring, they are not winning as many games as they could be.
There are many stars in this Lions offense, but one of these stars is surprising.

All About Amon-Ra
Amon-Ra St. Brown is having a fantastic season.
In his last 17 games for the Lions, St. Brown has scored 11 touchdowns and has 1,390 receiving yards.
On average, that is 81.8 receiving yards per game.
As well as being a talented receiver, he also has a good rushing ability, scoring one rushing touchdown in the same period to go along with the 11 receiving touchdowns he has scored.
These numbers make St. Brown the most effective member of the high-scoring Lions offense.
But how far ahead of the rest of his team is he?
Amon-Ra And The Rest
As we have established, St. Brown is the strongest member of the Lions offense.
The second-ranked player in the offense is fellow wide receiver Kalif Raymond.
He has played the same number of games as St. Brown but has less than half the number of receptions that his counterpart has had this season.
St. Brown has more than double the yards and six times the amount of touchdowns in the same period.
The new star in Detroit is not only the best target for Goff, he seems to be the only successful target.
