The Los Angeles Lakers have had a rough week, with a few painful defeats and the loss of Anthony Davis and LeBron James, to both illness and injury.
This comes after a promising string of big wins, securing victories in 8-of-10 games behind the power of MVP candidate Davis.
But now things are rocky for the Lakers again, leading some to wonder if the team will finally take the plunge and commit to a big trade.

Fans hoping for something huge shouldn’t hold their breaths.
It sounds like LA remains firm about not trading away their draft picks unless they are getting a huge asset in return.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski, “The Lakers are not going to use their first-round picks unless they can get back an All-Star level player back.”
We have heard this from the Lakers’ front office many times.
Is this plan finally paying off?
Picks For Players
Some fans have grown upset by the fact that the Lakers are clinging to these first-round picks.
They feel that LA needs to part ways with these draft picks if they hope to do anything and that no team is going to commit to a package without them.
The fans say they might as well just accept this fact and get to work at making deals.
Currently, there are a few players throughout the league – such as DeMar DeRozan with the Chicago Bulls – who have been spoken about as potential trade targets.
That’s an All-Star-level player, right?
Is that someone the Lakers have their eyes set on?
The Lakers are surely contemplating a few moves and likely having several behind-the-scenes conversations with other teams too.
Will we hear more from them soon?
