People were super excited to see the Los Angeles Lakers square off against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday.
They were tuning in because they wanted to see how the up-and-coming Cavs performed and how LeBron James did back in Cleveland.
Most people were also checking out the game to see if Anthony Davis‘ incredible streak of games continued.

It did not.
Davis ended up only playing for 8 minutes before leaving the game and heading to the locker room.
Fans were immediately shaken, terrified that Davis had hurt himself.
But it turns out he sat out the rest of the game due to flu-like symptoms.
On one hand, that was bad news and it surely hurt LA, who lost 116-102.
On the other hand, there was a big sigh of relief after it turned out Davis was just feeling under the weather and not physically harmed.
The Amazing Anthony
Davis has been having one of the best seasons of his career.
After a couple of middling years that left fans wanting more, Davis is putting up a monster 27.3 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 2.6 assists a game with an incredible 59% from the field.
Over the last few weeks, Davis’ name has been added to the conversation about this season’s MVP.
The hope was that Davis would continue his transcendent trend on Tuesday.
In the last few games, he has scored 55, 44, and 27 points with 17, 10, and 12 rebounds.
If he did play for the whole game, he definitely could have closed the gap and helped the Lakers overtake the Cavs.
But being sick is tough on the body and Davis knew he wouldn’t be able to perform as he wanted if he was feeling ill.
Thomas Bryant tried his hardest to fill Davis’ big shoes but it just wasn’t enough.
The hope is that Davis can get some R&R, flush the sickness out of his system, and be back ASAP.
