The Los Angeles Lakers enjoyed an impressive success on Sunday when they overcame the Dallas Mavericks and secured one of their biggest wins of the season.
Although the game had a lot of highlights, there was one huge lowlight: LeBron James injured his foot in the middle of the game.
He played through the entire match but it was clear that he tweaked his ankle during an awkward fall.
Therefore, many expected him to miss some time in the days ahead.

However, inside reporting has now revealed that James could sit out for a considerable amount of time because of this foot injury and his return date is now undetermined.
This is tough news for the Lakers because winning without James isn’t something they do well.
So far this season, the lakers are 5-9 without James.
Since he came to the Lakers several years ago, LA has a 36-62 record without James.
The Lakers need James now more than ever.
They have to play incredibly well in the weeks ahead if they wish to climb up in the Western Conference and qualify for the play-in tournament or playoffs.
That was already a tough task for the squad but now it’ll be even tougher because James will be out for what may be a long period.
The good news here is that the Lakers have a new group of reinforcements, such as D’Angelo Russell (who also happens to be hurt right now), Malik Beasley, Mo Bamba, Jarred Vanderbilt, and more.
Will they provide enough firepower to keep the Lakers treading water without James?
Or has LA’s fate just been sealed by this latest injury?
