The Los Angeles Lakers had a very good game on Sunday afternoon, rising from a 27-point deficit to beat the Dallas Mavericks deep in the heart of Texas.
It was a resounding success for the Lakers, who have now won three games in a row and have been able to rely on a few new recruits.
Of course, LeBron James is still a major part of every game and he scored 26 points and 8 rebounds during Sunday’s 111-108 win over Dallas.
Sadly, it might have cost him.
LeBron said his foot/ankle “has been better,” but it was important for him to finish the game. He’ll get treatment and monitor it ahead of the next two games (Tuesday/Wednesday B2B).

In the middle of the game, James fell on his foot awkwardly and spent some time on the floor before the got back up and played the rest of the match.
Even though he didn’t return to the locker room, some people wondered if this injury could have an impact on the games ahead.
Following the victory, James said that his foot and ankle have “been better” but he was intent on finishing the game.
He was set to receive treatment and monitor the injury before the next two games, which happen to be back-to-backs on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Losing James during those back-to-back matches would certainly hurt the Lakers as they always turn to him during every game.
If James were to sit out for one or both games, other players like Troy Brown Jr., Malik Beasley, and others would have to step up and try to carry the load usually reserved for James.
If he is indeed hurt, fans of the Lakers are hoping it won’t be for long.
The Lakers might finally have a good thing going but time is of the essence and they need to perform exceedingly well over the next few weeks if they wish to make the playoffs.
